I have 50 years of making art that captures what I see and feel around me.
My recurring themes of day and night, changing moons, waters and trees, share a vision of our earth filled with gratefulness and awe.

Our Planet
OUR PLANET is a series of oil paintings that I completed in 2012 and were displayed at my Cafe Vita art show in Seattle WA.
This work is an exploration of my heart breaking while I watch our planet being maimed and ruined for greed.
First, the beginnings of our planet- big bangs and big water and then the balance of the moon. Next I grabble with our diminished and fenced communities, our earth’s poisoning, the scary future we all face
Each painting is 2’ X 2’ and when the six are hung together they relate my “her story” of our planet.
Our Planet begins with some big bangs, and prospers with big waters.
The Sun and the Moon bring a base and a balance to the Planet whirling through Space.
Selfish greed serves just a few, and our Earth gets treated like an unwanted horse chestnut.
We walk heavy carrying grief we cannot know, and then act as if all the guns and fences can keep us safe.
As the fires rage and the ice caps melt... Our fears grow.
